Marie Coleman Andrews was 65 years old on Sunday, July 26. She was treated to a weekend trip of shopping in Charleston, S.C., by her three daughters.

Marie was joined on this trip by her daughters and granddaughters, Angeline Andrews Milton and Angelic of Augusta; Lillian Andrews Booker, Eliza and Dennise of Washington; and Marie Elaine Hawes of Lincolnton.

On Saturday, July 25, Marie, her daughters and granddaughters, began their weekend of shopping by going to the Northwood Mall and having lunch in the food court. After checking into the Country Hearth Inn and Suites, they spent the afternoon shopping at the Tanger Outlet Stores and eating dinner at Ryan's before retiring to the hotel.

On Sunday, July 26, Marie began her birthday celebration with devotional time with her daughters and granddaughters with reference to Luke 14.

They spent the day sightseeing in downtown Charleston and shopping at the open city markets. Marie enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner at T-Bonz Gill & Grill. She received many birthday calls throughout the day.

She ended her day by relaxing at the swimming pool of the hotel and good fellowship with her daughters and watching her granddaughters swim.

They returned home that Monday afternoon. What a fantastic way to spend a 65th birthday.
