Valentine's day might be over but romance will still abound at the Bolton Lunceford Playhouse.

Come inside the lush, romantic music of Brian Horner, Elizabeth Avery and M. Zachary Johnson. This trio has performed at such world renowned venues as New York's famed Carnegie Hall.

On February 20, 2010, the Washington Wilkes Historical Foundation presents "Serenade: Music for Saxophone & Piano." Horner on saxophone and Avery on piano will be joined by composer M. Zachary Johnson in a truly unique musical experience.

They will be presenting selections from their recent CD "Serenade." The performers and composer invite the audience inside the music, explaining its musical and emotional contexts. You will be entertained with complete musical works. You will also hear short excerpts designed to help the audience understand and anticipate what they will be hearing. This is an interactive event, dialog with the audience is welcomed and encouraged throughout the performance. The goal is to provide the audience with a very inclusive and enjoyable concert experience.
