Assaults, drunk driving predominate in summary of Wilkes County Aug. arrests
Assaults and drunk driving arrests top the August roundup of arrests by city, county, and state law enforcement in Wilkes County.
Christopher Trevor Sims, 17, of Crawfordville, was arrested August 18 by Wilkes deputies and charged with aggravated assault. He was released on $10,000 bond.
Bobby Norman, 24, of Tignall, was arrested August 15 by Wilkes deputies and charged with aggravated assault and with simple battery. He was released on $13,500 bond.
Jamie Allen, 35, of Tignall, was arrested August 24 by Tignall Police and charged with simple assault and with possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit a crime. He was released on $8,000 bond.
Brandon Flint, 20, of Washington, was arrested August 25 by Wilkes deputies and charged with two counts of identity fraud. He was held on $10,000 bond.
Felicia Cullars, 33, of Washington, was arrested August 18 by Washington Police and charged with cruelty to children. She was held on a probation violation.
Brandon Perlotte, 23, of Wilkes County, was arrested August 16 by Wilkes deputies and charged with simple battery. He was held on $3,500 bond.
Temon Williams, 28, of Athens, was arrested August 1 by Washington Police and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer; obstruction of an officer; driving while license is withdrawn; and with a loud music violation. He was released on bond.
Jenine Williams, 45, of Washington, was arrested August 14 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct. She was released on bond.
Henry Lee Shepard, 49, of Washington, was arrested August 29 by Washington Police and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was released on $813 bond.
As previously reported, Roderick Willis, 46, was arrested August 12 by Georgia State Patrol troopers and Wilkes deputies after a chase. Willis was charged with DUI; fleeing or attempting to elude; violation of the Georgia controlled substance law; and eight separate traffic violations. He was held on $43,000 bond.
Charles Ray Thornton, 58, of Washington, was arrested August 5 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence; hit and run; driving without a license; and with failure to drive in a single lane. He was released on $4,114 bond.
Robert I. Lawrence, 21, of Rayle, was arrested August 31 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence; hit and run; and with failure to drive in a single lane. He was held on $3,500 bond.
Robert Robbirds, 28, of Sneads, Fla., was arrested August 6 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence, and with a headlight charge. He was released on $1,822 bond.
Davis Mahoney, 50, of Washington, was arrested August 17 by Washington Police and charged with DUI and with failure to stop for a stop sign. He was released on $2,504 bond.
Wanda Smith, 48, of Washington, was arrested August 14 by Georgia State Patrol troopers and charged with DUI. She was released on $1,500 bond.
Jorge Ledesma, 24, of Wilkes County, was arrested August 15 by Washington Police and charged with DUI. He was released on $814 cash bond.
William Davis, 56, of Washington, was arrested August 9 by Washington Police and charged with driving while license is withdrawn and with a headlight charge. Davis was also arrested by the WPD August 15 and charged with driving in violation of a limited license. He was released on bond.
Jarvis T. Coleman, 23, of Tignall, was arrested August 23 by Washington Police and charged with driving while license is withdrawn; failure to drive within a single lane; driving with no insurance; and with removal or affixing plate to conceal vehicle identification. He was released on $1,396 bond.
