Graveside services for Irene Holtcamp Swann, 86, of Watkinsville were held Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. She died Thursday, August 27, at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens.

Mrs. Swann was born in Douglas, Wyoming, and was the wife of Garnett Swann. She was the daughter of the late Ted Holtcamp and Nora Penn Holtcamp. She and her husband were married in 1943 in Gretna, La. They spent 35 years in Atlanta. They retired in 1984 and moved to Watkinsville.

Hopkins Funereal Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
