Roy Norman of Atlanta visited during the weekend with his mother, Dottie Norman, and attended the memorial service for J.C. Boutwell in Lincolnton on Saturday.. lJohn and Kathy Overstreet have returned from a two-week trip to Michigan. They visited their son and family, Jason, Amy, Carley and Cody Overstreet, in Augres, Mich., and enjoyed a birthday celebration honoring both John and Jason Overstreet. Several days were enjoyed on the beautiful Mackinac Island before traveling to Ludington, Mich., for a visit with Mrs. Overstreet's sister and her husband, Delphine and Jim Evans. lSparky and Mary Newsome were in Athens Sunday and had dinner with Justin and Elizabeth Holmes. l Lisa Florence and daughter, Hannah, of Madison visited Sunday with their mother and grandmother, Edythe McCall. They also joined in a birthday celebration honoring Reba Hester at Washington Manor. lAngela Abadie of Wilmington, N.C., visited from Friday until Monday with her parents, Mark and Emilie Waters.
