Audra Chapman and Justin Armour honored at couple's shower Sept. 20
Engaged couple Audra Chapman and Justin Armour, who plan to marry November 7, were guests of honor at a couple's miscellaneous shower Sunday afternoon, September 20. Festivities were given by the WMU and ladies of Sardis Baptist Church in the church fellowship hall.
For the occasion Miss Chapman wore dressy black capris and a sheer black and white damask-design tank top. She was presented a corsage of Black-eyed Susans and daisies in fall colors.
Bouquets of fall flowers were used throughout in decorating. One was placed on a table near the entrance that featured the bride-elect's scrapbook for guests to sign as they arrived.
Another arrangement centered the window opening in the dining room.
The refreshment table, overlaid in white, held a delicious assortment of party foods and punch bowls with two different flavors of punch.
Guests included church members, family members and friends. Special guests included the bride-elect's mother, Stephanie Chapman of Washington; brother, Jason Chapman of Athens; and grandmother, Audrey Goldman of Lincolnton; the prospective bridegroom's parents, Tracy and Denise Armour, and grandparents, Jack and Rubye Armour, all of Rayle; and former pastor, John Mark and Betty Carpenter, of Gainesville.
