Greenwood Baptist Church, Lincolnton, will celebrate its 225th anniversary Sunday, October 4, 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served on the grounds following the service.

Transforming Life Ministries, Amethyst D. Wynn, pastor, will celebrate the 16th anniversary, pastoral celebration, and birthday celebration on Sunday, September 27, 3 p.m., at the Third Shiloh Center, Washington. The special guests will be Bishop Jonathan Greer II and the Divine Love Fellowship Church of Atlanta, with Springfield Community Choir, Purpose, Laborers and Harvest Choir, Springfield Almighty and New Sutton Temple Praise Dancers. Several unique door prizes will be available, and a superb birthday dinner will be served.

Heard's Chapel Baptist Church will celebrate the anniversary of the usher board on Sunday, October 11, 3 p.m. Rev. Robert Crawford and Mt. Zion Baptist Church will be in charge of the service.

The annual Rayle Ramble will be held Saturday, October 3. Food and crafts vendors are invited to sign-up now. There will be a big children's section with bungee jumping, train rides, and other activities.

The Third Shiloh Missionary Baptist Association's 118th Annual Session will convene at the Third Shiloh Center, 219 McLendon Drive, Washington, Wednesday- Friday, September 30-October 2. Youth night will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday sessions will begin at 10 a.m.

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church will present its annual Youth Day Program Sunday, October 11, 2 p.m. Rev. A. Rivers of St. Luke Baptist Church, Lincolnton, will be the guest minister.

The Springfield Community Mass Choir will have its second annual workshop October 14- 17, 6:30 p.m. All choirs, groups, soloists, or anyone interested is invited to attend.

The Springfield Community Choir will celebrate the annual choir anniversary on October 18. Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m., with the program at 3 p.m.

Midway United Methodist Church in Lincoln County will have homecoming Sunday, October 11, 11 a.m. A covered dish meal will be served at 1 p.m.

Reeves Chapel Baptist Church Choir will have its annual musical program Sasturday, October 3, 5 p.m.

Missionary Society Day will be observed at the New Saints CME Church, 515 Baltimore Road, Sunday, October 11, 3 p.m. The speaker will be Vickie Turman from the Faith Christian Center.

The First Baptist Church of Lincolnton will have a Men Marching for Christ Service Sunday, October 4, 2 p.m. Rev. Hull and the Heard's Chapel Church will be in charge of the service.

LWREA will meet at the Mary Willis Library at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 8. All retired educators are invited to attend.

New Springhill Baptist Church, 2491 Crawfor dvill Philomath, will honor its pastor and his wife, Dr. and Mrs. Reginald A. Hunter, with a 7th pastoral appreciation service Sunday, October 4, 11:30 a.m. Rev. Lance Pitts, pastor of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Greensboro, will be the guest messenger for the service.

The New Sutton Temple Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Katrina L. Owens, will have revival services October 7-9 at 7:30 p.m. The evangelist will be Pastor John Smith of New Life Baptist Church. Churches and choirs are asked to attend each night.

Woodville Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday, October 18, at 11 a.m. A barbecue dinner on the grounds will follow this service. Those attending should bring their favorite dish and share in the food and fellowship. Fall revival services will be held October 19-21, 7 p.m. each evening. Guest speaker will be Rev. Matt Goodman, pastor of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church in Athens. There will be special music each evening.
