      Addison Elizabeth Anne Ware Blake and Maegen Ware of Thomson announce the birth of their daughter, Addison Elizabeth Anne, on Wednesday, September 30, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. Addison weighed 6 lbs. 5 ozs. and was 19 inches long.

Reunion held at National Guard Armory
     Gathering for the third annual reunion of Company E, 1st Battalion, 122nd Infantry (TLAT) were (first row, l-r) Tim Crook, Leon Taylor, Fred Evans, Sheldon Davis; (second row) Billy Chafin, Bobby Hill, Coleman Kennedy, Jene Moore, Ross Williamson; (third row) Allen Johnson, Samuel Dunn, Edmond Bryant, Ricky Maxwell; (fourth row) James Cullars, Donald Hulin and Tommy Thaxton. The reunion was held at the Washington National Guard Armory on Sunday, September 27. Family members joined the Company for a barbecue dinner. The unit was deactivated in September, 1992

      Roberta and Ed George entertained members of the Belle Williams Volunteer Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church at their home Friday evening, September 25. Members, spouses and guests gathered on the patio around the pool for a delicious seafood buffet prepared by the Georges. Desserts, brought by members, completed the menu.

     Singer Sylvia Lee Walker belts one out for an appreciative audience at Saturday's Rayle Ramble. Hundreds of Ramblers enjoyed a day of children's games, inflatable adventures, good food, plus music by country star Terri Gibbs, the young rock band "Athens," and local favorites Sylvia, Brittany Klaus, Bill Maxwell, Jim Newsome, Michael Edwards, Franklin Washington, and the First United Methodist youth group Methodology.

Adult Day Health center holds ribbon cutting
     Administrator Ray Hardy cuts the ceremonial ribbon on the CSRA Private Duty Adult Day Health center on West Robert Toombs Avenue, surrounded by clients, staff, Chamber of Commerce members, and friends. Hardy, in partnership with Deborah Sherrer and Tommy Bradford, offers daytime care for individuals who don't require 24-hour institutional care, but are not capable of full-time independent living due to a physical or mental disability. "Our program allows the caregiver opportunities to run errands, visit with family and friends, or just take a break," Hardy said.

Harper's Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends
      M rs. Martha Wells' son, Tom Wells, brought the residents some beautiful fresh flowers for us to enjoy. They were so pretty I got my camera and took two pictures of them. ƒDudley Bryant visited Melvin Cawley and played the piano for us and sang. He was really rocking that piano with beautiful music. He said he was going to come and play and sing more often.
