Gussie McAvoy Gussie Hardy McAvoy of Washington was honored on the occasion of her 95th birthday at a family celebration at the home of Gayle and Willie Roberson on the Lincolnton Road.

Hosting the occasion with the Robersons were Robert and Sarah Nell Baynham of Clark Hill, S.C.

A delicious barbecue dinner was enjoyed with the trimmings. Completing the celebratory dinner was a birthday cake, made by Rhonda Roberson, enjoyed with homemade ice cream.
