Britany Christina Crews marries Daniel Justin Moore September 5

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Justin Moore Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Justin Moore Britany Christina Crews of Crawfordville and Daniel Justin Moore of Tignall exchanged wedding vows Saturday, September 5, at six o'clock in the evening at Raytown Methodist Church in Crawfordville. Terry Casper of Washington officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Janet Head of Crawfordville.

The bridegroom is the son of Angela Roberson of Tignall and the late Danny Moore of Crawfordville.

The altar featured ferns and an archway adorned with white flowers and bows. The unity candle was to the side. Candles adorned the windows. Pews were marked with bows and a white aisle runner completed the decorations.

The couple's mothers lighted the outer candles of the unity candle as they were ushered in to be seated.

Pre-recorded music was used for the ceremony.

Brandon Rogers of Rayle served as best man. Gwen Roberson of Tignall, step-father of the bridegroom, was the usher, and brother of the bridegroom, Brent Moore, also of Tignall, was the groomsman.

Ashley Edwards of Union Point was her sister's matron of honor. Tiffany Roberson of Tignall, sister of the bridegroom, served as the bridesmaid.

Both attendants were gowned in black dresses and carried bouquets of white lilies.

Marie Arnold of Crawfordville served her mother as the flower girl. She wore an ivory beaded dress and tossed pink and white rose petals as she walked to the altar.

Given in marriage by her grandfather, Wilson Phelps of Greensboro, the bride was lovely in her ivory beaded gown fashioned with a strapless bodice enhanced by a champagne ribbon under the bustline. The long gown ended in a cathedral-length train.

Her ivory veil fell from a crystal headpiece.

She carried a nosegay of light pink roses and white lilies.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Head chose a black and white two- piece suit.

The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Roberson, wore a black and white dress.

Each was presented a white rose corsage.

Also seated in places of honor were the bride's grandmother, Ethel Phelps of Greensboro, and the bridegroom's grandmothers, Gladys Fleming of Elberton, and Julia Nell Barnes of Crawfordville. They were honored with corsages of white lilies.

Reception

Following the ceremony Gwen and Angela Roberson entertained at a reception at their home in Tignall.

Pearl-colored cloths covered the tables that held candles and beautiful mixed floral arrangements made by Mrs. Roberson.

The wedding cake was a threelayered square design iced in white. Each layer featured a black ribbon around its base. Completing the cake was a heart-shaped acrylic monogrammed topper.

Guests enjoyed a buffet of delicious heavy hors d'oeuvres and punch.

Following a wedding trip to Tybee Island, Mr. and Mrs. Moore are making their home in Raytown.
