The Taliaferro County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a chili and stew cook-off Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Application forms for entering the contest are available at www. clasasicsouthevents.com. Besides chili and stew, there will be activities for the entire family. A limited number of arts and crafts vendors will be present, and there will be games and hunter information.

The general public will vote for the best chili and stew and a cash prize will be awarded. There will also be a prize for the best booth and booth name.
