Harper's Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends
M rs. Martha Wells' son, Tom Wells, brought the residents some beautiful fresh flowers for us to enjoy. They were so pretty I got my camera and took two pictures of them. ƒDudley Bryant visited Melvin Cawley and played the piano for us and sang. He was really rocking that piano with beautiful music. He said he was going to come and play and sing more often. It surely did liven us up. ƒThe tap dancer group came to entertain the residents Wednesday. Tanya Fair gave manicures to residents. ƒMargie Burke and Julia Gartrell visited the residents, sang songs, and had prayer with us. Mrs. Burke played bingo with the residents. ƒMrs. Blanche Sisson's guests were Shirley Goldman and Jenny Dove. Jenny took Mrs. Sisson on an outing. ƒLinda Norman visited Miss Carrie Norman. ƒCheryl Massey visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell ƒResidents having birthdays this month include Mrs. Louise Bagwell and Darinda Holliday. ƒMrs. Nancy Gunby went on an outing Wednesday. She also went to Bible Study with Clara Sutton on Lexington Avenue. She visited at Davenport- McLendon Funeral Home. ƒMarie Jackson visited Mrs. Helen Jackson. ƒLinda Griggs visited Mrs. Sarah Curtis several times during the week. ƒMrs. Pete Strother had supper with Trey, Jade, Troy and Shelby Kennedy at their home. Her visitors have included Ann Saggus, Sandra Pope, Susan Pope, B.C. and Debra Kennedy, and Shelby Kennedy. ƒ Dale Spence has come back from the hospital. He is doing better and we surely are glad. ƒMrs. Mary Jane Justice's visitors have been Ginger Standard, Lois Brocker, Martha Aycock, and Dot Bentley ƒLawrence Brown visited Harrison Barnett. ƒAmelia Harrison visited Mrs. Rebecca Gobble. ƒJimmie Justice and Jim Justice III visited Mrs. Mary Jane Justice and brought a surprise fried chicken lunch.
ƒMrs. Pete Strother attended Ebenezer Baptist Church with her family. Miss Pete and Inez Hall visited Pembroke and Sandra Pope, Mel, Sunshine, Sydney Pope, Luke McBride and Pembroke, Chrissie, Jackson, and Katie Pope. ƒNanci Faulk from Pensacola, Fla., visited Miss Carrie Norman. ƒMrs. Nancy Gunby attended services at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. ƒLynn Bentley and Raegan visited Mrs. Lois South. ƒPastor Al George presented the worship service Sunday morning. June, his wife, Margie Burke, and Margaret came to sing and have prayer with the residents. ƒ Bobby Blakey and Doris Rhodes visited Mrs. Lois Flynt.
