Abby Kathleen Callaway Christopher Joel McGarr Mr. and Mrs. Larry Callaway of Rayle announce the engagement of their daughter, Abby Kathleen, to Christopher Joel McGarr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bradley of Hephzibah and Mr. and Mrs. Larry McGarr of Creedmoor, N.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Peggy R. Callaway of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Callaway of Lexington and Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Noggle of Crawfordville.

Miss Callaway attended Athens Technical College and is employed by Dr. David Reid, D.D.S., of Martinez.

Mr. McGarr is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Pinion and the late Charles Pinion of Augusta, Mrs. Hollis Bradley and the late Bud Bradley of Hephzibah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jones McGarr of Creedmoor, N.C.

He is a student at Augusta Technical College and is employed by International Brotherhood of Elec- trical Workers Local 1579.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, November 7, at Tucker Plantation in Colbert.
