Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. McAvoy Jr. of Washington announce the birth of their son, Weston Larry, on Wednesday, September 16, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. Weston weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs. and was 21 ½ inches long. He has three sisters, Chelsea, 11, Taylor, 7, and Camille, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Mac Cartledge of Thomson, the late Larry Joe Brown, and the late Len Lamar. Maternal greatgrandparents are the late Mrs. Dora Bell Brown Wright, the late Joe Brown, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Cawley.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry McAvoy and Mrs. Chere Spinato, all of Washington. Paternal great-grandparents are Mrs. Helen Miller of Washington, the late Howard Miller and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pope McAvoy.

Mrs. McAvoy is the former Mandy Brown of Washington.
