Mary Turpin McPherson was hostess at her home on the Thomson Road for a luncheon for the ladies of the Washington-Wilkes High School Class of l960 Saturday, October 10.

Fall decorations were used in decorating.

Following the covered dish luncheon, everyone continued a time of fellowship as they wrote notes to several classmates who were experiencing health issues or other needs in their families.

Attending with Mrs. McPherson were Linda Turpin Standard, Joyce Lankford Holloway, Sue Stevens Davis, Lois Hoffman Poss, Ann Garrard Mansur and Fran Biggers Thaxton of Washington-Wilkes, Charlene Scott Street of Martinez and her daughter, Shannon Whitaker of Lincolnton; and Mrs. McPherson's children, Bruce and Angela McPherson, James and Augustus, of Roswell.
