Sheriff Moore presents program to Woman's Club on identity theft

Wilkes County Sheriff Mark Moore was guest speaker at the meeting of the Woman's Club Monday, October 12, at the clubhouse.

Introduced by Paula Suggs, program chairman, Sheriff Moore spoke to members on the topics of identity theft, scams and miscellaneous reporting.

Prior to the program, Vivian Walker, president, presided. Bunny Gunby led the devotional, "Secret of the Frying Pan," the pledge to the flag, and the blessing for the luncheon.

Melissa Grant and Barbara Rob- erts were hostesses for the meeting. They decorated for the luncheon using a fall motif. A fall wreath adorned the front door. Mantels featured scarecrows, pumpkins and fall leaves. Tables were covered in yellow and accented with orange napkins. Clear cylinders with candy corn and fall flowers centered each table.

Dean Mansfield introduced her guests, Paulette George and Bettye Armour.

Twenty-one members and guests attended.
