Wilkes Ministers United will sponsor a Veterans Day Memorial Service on The Square in downtown Washington Wednesday, November 11, from 11:00 until 11:30 a.m.

The service will include the singing of patriotic hymns, prayers for those who have and are serving our country, and a brief homily.

The music will be provided by Freddie Brown from WLOV. Rev. Charles Henderson, pastor of the New Saints CME Church; Pastor Amethyst Wynn from Transforming Life Ministries; Dr. Denni Moss from the Church of the Mediator; Rev. Gale Seibert, pastor of the First United Methodist Church; Rev. Glen Kohlhagen, pastor of the Washington Presbyterian Church; Richard Seibert; and Michael Pharr will be leading the service in various capacities.
