Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Keith Wolfe Wendi Chafin Harper of Tignall and Brandon Keith Wolfe of Philomath exchanged wedding vows in a beautiful double-ring ceremony Saturday, October 3, at two o'clock in the afternoon at Tignall Baptist Church in Tignall. Rev. Albert Huyck of Tignall officiated the ceremony that also honored the memory of Rev. Dale Fincher.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Chafin of Washington.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Wolfe of Philomath.
As guests entered the vestibule, they signed the register. Also in the vestibule was a table that held a collage of pictures of Rev. Fincher around a poem placed in his memory.
In the sanctuary the altar was decorated with ferns and candles and pews were marked with bows.
A program of pre-recorded music was used prior to the ceremony. Pianist, Mrs. Calvin Gunter Jr. of Washington, great-aunt of the bride, played "The Bridal Chorus" for the processional and "Victory in Jesus" for the recessional. This selection was also played in memory of Rev. Dale Fincher.
Ushers were the bride's son, Evan Harper of Tignall, Logan Meck of Franklin County; and Mike Seymour of Washington.
Escorted and given in marriage by her son, Evan, the bride was lovely in her full-length ivory gown. The halter-top bodice was enhanced with beading and ruching through the midriff and waist area. The soft A-line skirt completed the design.
Her ivory veil was attached in the back with a comb.
She carried a bouquet of ivory roses and ivy. A handkerchief belonging to her grandmother, Mrs. Walter Gunter, and a handkerchief that belonged to her late grandfather, Walter Gunter, were wrapped together around the stems of her bouquet.
Reception
Following the ceremony, the bridal couple entertained guests at a reception in the Family Life Center of Tignall Baptist Church.
After the reception the couple left for a wedding trip to Helen.
