Gerald Lee Johnson, 60, of Crawfordville, died November 7, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Wilkes County and the son of the late Mary Mathews and Dewitt Johnson. He had worked for Pliant Corporation.

Survivors include a daughter, Emilee Lauren Johnson, Washington; a sister, Martha Robertson, Bogart; and a brother, Dewitt Johnson Jr., Jefferson.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
