Amanda Leigh Woods to marry Inman Curry Hogan III April 3
Amanda Leigh Woods Inman Curry Hogan III Mr. and Mrs. Steve Woods of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Leigh, to Inman Curry Hogan III, of Washington, son of Mrs. Lynda V. Pollock, also of Washington, and Inman Curry Hogan Jr. of Lincolnton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Woods Jr. of Stephens and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady Hopkins of Washington.
She is a 2000 honor graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2005 graduate of Augusta State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Miss Woods is also a 2008 graduate of Walden University where she earned a Masters in Elementary Reading and Math Education. She is employed by the Wilkes County Board of Education as a kindergarten teacher at Washington-Wilkes Primary School.
Mr. Hogan is the grandson of Mrs. Sybil W. Veazey and the late Jack Veazey of Crawfordville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Inman Curry Hogan of Lincolnton.
He is a l995 graduate of Wash- ington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2000 graduate of Augusta Tech where he earned an Associate in Environmental Horticulture degree. Mr. Hogan is employed by Dearfield Tissue in Augusta.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 3, at 5:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Lincolnton with a reception to follow at the Washington-Wilkes Country Club.
