Members of FUMC Adult Ministries travel to North Georgia October 29
Enjoying a trip to the North Georgia mountains with the Adult Ministries of the First United Methodist Church were (front row, l-r) Pat Landress, Ann Cook, Zella Bennett, Gale Seibert, Wilma Bunch, Linda Smith, Lewis Cook; (back) Gene Gunby, Chuck Bennett and Bill Smith. Bunny Gunby took the picture. The Adult Ministries of the First United Methodist Church sponsored a trip to the North Georgia Mountains Thursday, October 29.
The group left the church early and enjoyed breakfast at McDonald's in Elberton.
From there they continued to Dillard where they stopped to buy lots of fresh fruits and vegetables at the market.
Lunch was enjoyed at the Georgia Mountain Café in Hiawassee.
A highlight of the day was a trip to Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Georgia, where the leaves and scenery were magnificent.
The group returned home by way of Helen.
