Audra Chapman honored at bridal luncheon Oct. 31
November bride-elect Audra Chapman was feted at a bridesmaids luncheon given by Beth Bunch, Judy Denard, Lauren Bridges and Audrea Ezzell on Saturday, October 31, at the Bunch home on the Lincolnton Road.
For the occasion Miss Chapman chose black slacks and a complementing red and black jacket.
As guests arrived, they were graciously welcomed and served light hors d'oeuvres of grapes, cheese, crackers and sparkling grape juice.
For the luncheon course they were seated at tables that featured green runners enhanced with delicate fall patterns. Centering the runners were large lanterns accented with dried hydrangea.
Guests enjoyed a luncheon of Chicken Piccata, mashed red potatoes, petite green beans, rolls, and apple tarts for dessert.
After the meal, everyone adjourned to the living room where the bride-elect presented gifts to her attendants.
As guests departed, the hostesses presented them favors of bath salts in beautiful jars tied with raffia and ribbon.
Joining Miss Chapman and her hostesses were her mother, Stephanie Chapman of Washington, and grandmother, Audrey Goldman of Lincolnton; the prospective bridegroom, Justin Armour's mother, Denise Armour, and grandmother, Rubye Armour, both of Rayle; also Meredith Williamson, Andie Bridges, April Wheatley, Taylor Goldman of Tifton, Liz Hansford of Augusta and Susan Goldman, Kaylie and Alyssa, of Winterville.
