Will Lamar celebrates second birthday Oct. 23

2009-11-12 / Personalities

Will Lamar, son Drew and Beth Lamar of Washington, was two years old on Friday, October 23, and celebrated on two occasions.

Will first celebrated his birthday with his family at the Washington Woman's Club on Saturday, October 17. A dump truck theme was used in decorating. Guests received handmade photo invitations made by his mom that encouraged them to "dump everything" and come celebrate. Balloons and streamers in red, orange, yellow and blue added to the festive decorations. A scrapbook of events from the past year was laid on the entry table for all to view.

On the refreshment tables, large toy dump trucks held a variety of refreshments that included spinach dip and chips, fruit with dip, Cheetos, M&M's, brownies, cocktail sausages and a cheese ring with crackers.

After gifts, all enjoyed cake, ice cream and punch.

Celebrating with Will and his parents were Perry and Claunette Morgan, George Morgan, Gerome and Stacey Morgan, Kaelyn, Rachel and Garrett, Sara Wheatley, Kathie Lamar, Guy and Betty Stephens and Gene and Sara Lamar.

On his birthday Will was treated to dinner at LaCabana Mexican Restaurant in Washington by his maternal grandparents, Perry and Claunette Morgan. Maternal greatgrandmother, Sara Wheatley, also joined Will and his parents for the birthday dinner.
