Visiting during the weekend with Grady and Ruth Rogers was Eddie Rogers of Carrollton. lGathering Saturday at Talk of the Town for lunch and to spend the day enjoying ArtFest were several members of Washington-Wilkes High School Class of l964, Phyllis Albea Reese of Augusta, Marie Anderson Miller of Newnan, Betti Adams Wise of Sandersville, Doris Dyson Bradshaw of Gainesville, Carol Duke Cloer of Athens, Mackie Bryson Combs of Appling, Evelyn Clark Waters of Orangeburg, S.C., Susan Hopkins Pope, Phyllis Maxwell Norman, Mary Donna Thornton Lunceford, Janice McAvoy Scott, and Valerie McClearen Jackson. lSteve and Eleanor Blackmon enjoyed a weekend visit in Thomasville with Raymond Hughes and attended a benefit organ concert presented by Mr. Hughes. Before returning the Washington, the Blackmons also visited the Sam Rogers family in Tallahassee, Fla. lDennis and Julia Palmer were in Athens Friday night to attend the annual alumni awards dinner of the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at Flinchum's Phoenix. They especially enjoyed renewing acquaintances with Leon and Julie Neal of Thomasville.
