Concert is theater's gift to community

The Washington Little Theater will present "Tidings of Great Joy" by Duo Intermezzo: Ruth Berry, cello, and Kevini Pollock, piano, on Sunday, December 6, at 3 p.m. at the Bolton Lunceford Playhouse on North Alexander Avenue. The concert is a Christmas gift to the community from the Little Theater and there is no admission charge. "Tidings of Great Joy" is a concert that celebrates and reflects upon the importance of music during the holiday season. The program features creative settings for cello and piano of traditional and contemporary carols, in addition to unique arrangements of popular classical standards.
