Kopecky earns scholarship

Sheena Kopecky (center), a student at Athens Technical College, was presented the Tena's Jewelry and Gifts FFA Scholarship by Debbie Jackson (left) on October 15. Kopecky, who plans to transfer to the University of Georgia and pursue a major in Agricultural Education, was awarded the scholarship based on her active involvement in the Washington-Wilkes FFA Chapter. FFA Advisor Nathan Heaton (right) was on hand for the presentation.
