Why does every year seem to go faster than the year before? I know as I get older it really seems that way to me. Here it is Thanksgiving already. I hope everyone will have a great time with family and friends. ƒFaye Scoggins and granddaughter Mary of Augusta visited Sue Davis last Saturday. ƒWeekend guests of Janet and Scott Blaine were his aunt and uncle, Edith and Junior Stoudemire of Franklin, N.C., who celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary while with them, also Ricky and Danita Stoudemire. Joining them for supper Friday night were Tim Worley and Kirk Wolfe of Athens and Clayton Blaine of Dahlonega. ƒPam and Ricky McCarty joined Terri and Bob Pickens of Ficklen and had supper in Augusta Monday night. ƒAmelia Hopkins of Elberton visited Iris Dyson Thursday afternoon. ƒLois and Coryer Poss visited Sue Davis Friday afternoon. ƒJames Sherrer visited Mrs. Sue Mc- Carty in Danielsville; Ed Porterfield at Dove's Rest Home near Danielsville; Sidney Ann Stoyle at Cobb Health Care in Comer; and Mrs. Louise Glenn in Carlton Friday afternoon. ƒ Pam McCarty visited Cheryle Holsclaw in Washington Friday night. ƒSue and Willard Lance had lunch with Elizabeth Conway in Athens Saturday, and on Sunday they had lunch with their daughter-in-law, Keeley Lance, at the hospital cafeteria. ƒRicky McCarty visited Peter Johnson at Heritage Health Care Sunday night.

ƒPam McCarty visited Pam Pittman and James Williford Sunday evening. Also visiting were Stacy and Dusty Kay and Madison of Sharon. ƒPhilip Huff of Athens visited James and me Sunday afternoon. Mae Dell is staying with her mother, Mazelle Wolfe, while she is a patient in Wills Memorial Hospital. ƒO give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; because his mercy endureth forever. Psalm 118.
