Frank Henry Andrews
Funeral services for Frank Henry Andrews, 95, of Atlanta, were held Friday, November 13, 2009, at Lindsay Street Baptist Church, Atlanta, with Rev. Anthony A.W. Motley officiating. Interment was at the Abbey in West View Cemetery with military honors. He died Sunday, November 8.
Mr. Andrews was one of the founders of Andrews Funeral Home in Atlanta in 1938, along with his mother, Carrie Andrews, her brother, Robert L. Chennault, and his brother, Fred D. Andrews. He directed funerals in the family business until 1232- 08 A BC PSC A d 6 x4 2/2 6/09 World War II when he began service to his country. After returning from service he resumed his duties and worked with his mother, serving the Atlanta and Fulton County area, and in Wilkes County. He was educated in Wilkes County and later moved to Atlanta. He attended Morris Brown College in 1932 for two years then completed his education at the Worsham College for Funereal Directors and Embalming in Chicago and was licensed to embalm and direct funerals in Georgia.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Ninth District GPSPA and Willis Funeral Home of Dalton.
