Mr. and Mrs. Cary Callaway of Washington announce the birth of their son, Carson Patrick, on Wednesday, November 4, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Carson weighed 9 lbs. 13 ozs. and was 21 ¼ inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Patrick Hitchcock of Lavonia. The maternal great-grandmother is Mrs. Barbara Cofer of Jonesboro.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Callaway of Washington. Mrs. Herbert Callaway of Washington is the paternal greatgrandmother.

Mrs. Callaway is the former Lindsey Hitchcock of Lavonia.
