A memorial service for Alma Ruth Toler, 87, of Washington will be held at the Washington First United Methodist Church Chapel Monday, November 30, 2009, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Gayle Seibert officiating. She died Wednesday, November 18, at her home. Funeral services will be held in Orlando, Fla.

Mrs. Toler was a native of Bremen and was the daughter of the late Ira Y. and Emily Vance Suggs. She was a retired banker and realtor, and was the widow of William Bramell Toler.

Survivors include a brother, Robert L. Suggs, Knoxville, Tenn.; a nephew, J.R. Suggs, and his wife Paula, of Washington; and other relatives in South Carolina, Georgia, and New Mexico.
