Abby Callaway and Chris Mc- Garr, who were married November 7, were treated to a couple's shower on October 17, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bailey and Lindsey Callaway in Upton Mills.

The bride-elect was presented a corsage of cream and lilac Alstroemeria lilies and chrysanthemums to complement her multicolored sweater ensemble.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal of pork barbecue, potato salad, baked beans, garlic bread and tea. A variety of cakes and cookies was served for dessert.

The hosts presented the couple with monogrammed salad plates from their selected dinnerware in addition to a hammock.

Attending from the Washington area were the bride-elect's mother, Mrs. Larry Callaway, and grandmother, Mrs. Peggy Callaway; also, Mr. and Mrs. Chan Drake, Scott and Hunter Callaway and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Parker. Out-of-town guests included Leann Morrow of Comer, Doug Black, James Lewis and Carl Willis of Augusta, Daniel Tallent of Cleveland, Kristen Ivey and Ben Bradley of Hephzibah, Ashley Noggle and Kris Kendrick of Mt. Airy, and Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Zimmerman of North Augusta, S.C.
