A Toombs Family Christmas

Volunteers, including Patti (left) and Elle Lindsey, have decorated each room of the Robert Toombs House Historic Site for the season, and the Toombs Family historical re-enactors will be presenting living Christmas cards of the past this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. “In each room of the Toombs House, visitors will learn about the greetings used by our ancestors to bring Christmas to hearth and home,” curator Marcia Campbell said. “It’s a wonderful and historic addition to the Christmas Tour of Homes.” Volunteers, including Patti (left) and Elle Lindsey, have decorated each room of the Robert Toombs House Historic Site for the season, and the Toombs Family historical re-enactors will be presenting living Christmas cards of the past this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. “In each room of the Toombs House, visitors will learn about the greetings used by our ancestors to bring Christmas to hearth and home,” curator Marcia Campbell said. “It’s a wonderful and historic addition to the Christmas Tour of Homes.”
