Cruisers donate to Gifts for Children


Memory Lane Cruisers president, David McClearen (right), presents Washington Police Chief Mike Davis with toys the car club members are donating to the Police Department. The club held its annual Christmas dinner at the Fitzpatrick Hotel on Tuesday, December 1. Members present were John and Suellen Buckman, David and Jama Carper, Chan and Phyllis Drake, David and Belle Eberhardt, Harold and Joyce Holloway, Al Lamar, Ross and Louise Maynard, Kerry and Nancy McAvoy, David and Louise McClearen, Pug and Kay Nelms, Lee and Beth Thaxton, Tommy and Fran Thaxton, Ellis and Pat Thornton, and Dave Toburen. Special guests were Chief Davis and his wife, Teressa.
