Presbyterian Women help buy books for children


Representing the Presbyterian Women at the Washington Presbyterian Church, Adele Seymour presents a check to Principal Florence Sandifer of Washington-Wilkes Primary School to help buy books for needy children at the school’s recent Book Fair. “This is a very nice gift,” Sandifer said, “and our children will really benefit from the books that can be bought with this.” Sales at the Book Fair were very good, considering the tough economic times, she said.
