‘Tree of Love’ is sponsored by WMH Auxiliary

The Wills Memorial Hospital Auxiliary continues its sponsorship of the third annual “Christmas Tree of Love” through most of this month.

The Auxiliary will began its annual celebration last week during the Downtown Candlelight Shopping on The Square. A special ceremony was held lighting the evergreen tree in front of the courthouse with brightly colored lights.

The lights serve as a symbolic tribute to those who are honored or memorialized. Lights may be purchased for a $5.00 donation to have the name of loved ones inscribed in the Book of Love and also commemorated in The News-Reporter during the holiday season. The Book of Love will be displayed in the Wills Memorial Hospital lobby.

Proceeds from the project will fund the purchase of necessary equipment for the hospital. Donations are tax deductible.

Members of the Auxiliary ask that donations be made by November 20 for the lighting ceremony, however, donations received by December 23 will be included in The News- Reporter article.

Donations may be mailed to the Auxiliary at 120 Gordon Street, Washington 30673, or by filling out the form on this page and mailing it to this address.
