Graveside services for Tom Webb Bufford of Bartram Trace, Wilkes County, were held Monday, November 16, 2009, at Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. He died Friday, November 13.

Mr. Bufford was the son of the late Guy Bufford and the late Fannie Amason Bufford. He retired after 30 years as a truck driver for Pet Milk and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Tom Webb Bufford Jr. and his wife Susan of Washington; a sister, Annette Pressel, Atlanta; two brothers, Guy Bufford Jr., Washington, and Frank D. Bufford, Calhoun Falls, S.C.; and two grandchildren, Brian Bufford and Stephen Bufford.

Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
