Funeral services for Anne Wilson Brown Kimsey, 93, of Blue Ridge, were held Thursday, December 10, 2009, at the First Baptist Church of Epworth with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. She died December 7, at the Fannin Regional Medical Center, Blue Ridge.

Mrs. Kimsey was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of Young Bryan and Lillie Pearl Cosby Brown. She was the widow of Paul Denton Kimsey. She was a member of Epworth First Baptist Church

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ronnie and Barbara Kimsey, Blue Ridge, Richard Glenda Kimsey, Little Mountain, S.C.; two sisters, Louise Smith of Tignall, and Reba Pounds of Thomason; three grandsons, Wes Kimsey, Matt Kimsey, and Nathan Kimsey; greatgranddaughters, Ashley Rogers, Britney Carroll, Aaron Kimsey, and Neyland Kimsey; great-grandsons, Matthew Kimsey Jr., and Mason Kimsey.

Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville is in charge of arrangements.
