Funeral services for Frances Marion Faust Moore, 89, of Jackson, formerly of Rayle in Wilkes County, were held Friday, December 11, 2009, at the Washington Presbyterian Church with Rev. Glen Kohlhagen officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington. She died Wednesday, December 9.

Mrs. Moore was born in Oglethorpe County and was the daughter of the late William Marion Faust and Blondine Little Faust. She was the widow of Austin Henry Moore who was Postmaster of Rayle for many years. She was a schoolteacher for many years and was a devoted member of the Washington Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Celeste F. Lawrence of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
