Wilkes Darrell Edwards

Joseph and Ashley Edwards of Washington announce the birth of their son, Wilkes Darrell, on Wednesday, December 9, at the University Hospital in Augusta. Wilkes weighed 7 lbs. 2 ozs. and was 19 ½ inches long. He has a brother, Jaxson, who is seven years old.

Maternal grandparents are Darrell and Dianne Standard of Washington and Scott and Kim Whitfield of Lawndale, N.C.

Paternal grandparents are Ricky and Kim Edwards of Washington.

Mrs. Edwards is the former Ashley Whitfield of Washington.

Caleb Michael Whitaker

Jason and Shannon Whitaker of Lincolnton announce the birth of their son, Caleb Michael, on Monday, December 14, at Trinity Hospital in Augusta. Caleb weighed 7 lbs. 15 ozs. and was 19 ½ inches long. He has two brothers, Jase, who is six years old, and Scott, four.

Maternal grandparents are John and Charlene Scott Street of Appling. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Charlie and Reba Scott of Washington and the late John and Marie Street of Augusta.

Paternal grandparents are Timothy and Sondra Whitaker of Grovetown. Paternal great-grandparents are Edward and Savannah Headrick of Knoxville, Tenn., Lillie Whitaker Nance and the late Carl Whitaker of North Carolina.

Mrs. Whitaker is the former Shannon Street of Appling.
