Talents, spirit of hard-working team keeps Callaway beautiful
TO THE EDITOR:
“Perfection” best describes volunteers and city workers for the Callaway Plantation Christmas Tour 2009. Everyone worked so hard in spite of the many other responsibilities they had going on. This is the spirit all of us look for during the holiday season and throughout the year. Each year it seems that the beauty of Callaway Plantation cannot be improved upon but each year the talents of these good people are proven through the many comments of our visitors.
Thanks to the special talents and services of the Dixon and Rabun Family, Buddy Patterson, Candy Callaway, Betty Martin, Annie (Pie) Wilkerson, Hattie Callaway, Jean Ballew, Washington Plantation, The Garden Club, Suzanne Carter, Joey Gartrell, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin McAvoy, Debbie Danner, Laura Connely, Susan Echols, Bes Moore, Jerry & Jerard Serland Blue Grass Band, Post Oak Farms, Ruth Harris and students (Franny Robinson, Jill Trossen, Zachary Hill, Andrea Hill, Lykah Mora, Meagan Ramos, Makayla Wray, Jackson Dye, Lana Dye, Emily Beggs, Anna Beggs, Genevieve Coe, Will Price, Ben Danner, Brittany Guin, and Adam Rutkowski). Special thanks to the Washington Street Deptartment, Bobby Mills and his staff, David Wideman, Willie Cullars, Perry Wilburn, Victor Linares, Mark Franklin, Khiry Jenkins, and others for their constant assistance during this event.
