Brenda Bunch, 67, of Tignall, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, in Athens Regional Medical Center. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Bunch was a native of Calhoun Falls, S.C., and was the daughter of the late J.C. and Ada Besley Carter. She had worked in the textile industry in quality control and had worked at Petal Pushers in Elberton.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Bunch of Tignall; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and David Cordle of Tignall; a son, Troy Bunch of Tignall; two sisters, Juanita Moore and Sheila Campbell, Abbeville, S.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brenda Bunch Memorial Fund at the F&M Bank, Washington, and Tignall.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
