Kathryn Williams Bussey Reid Adam Filipiak Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Darwin Bussey of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Williams, of Warm Springs, to Reid Alan Filipiak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roch Jay Filipiak of Washington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Fite of Decatur, Ala., Mrs. Josephine Williams Bussey of Columbus and the late Darwin William Bussey.

She is a graduate of Hoover High School in Hoover, Ala., and received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. Miss Bussey completed her dietetic internship at Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va. She is employed by Sodexo as a registered dietitian with St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.

Mr. Filipiak is the grandson of the late Edmund Filipiak, the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elwood Friese of Columbus, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Jay Miller of Washington.

He is a graduate of Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville and received a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Athens Technical College in Athens. Mr. Filipiak is employed as a licensed PTA by Walton Rehabilitation Health System in Augusta.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakhurst Farm in West Point.
