Dr. Joe Harris spoke at the Washington Kiwanis Club’s meeting Tuesday, speaking on the purposes of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and the local chapter in particular. Harris was introduced by Lillie Crowe, program host for the meeting. Before his talk, Crowe presented the schedule for the 2010 Battle of Kettle Creek Revolutionary Days Celebration on Friday and Saturday, February 12-13, including talks by author Robert Scott Davis, social events, historical presentations, a parade, and a barbecue.
