Rebecca Lynne Phillips Casey Allan Norton Mr. and Mrs. Richard Phillips of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lynne, of Conyers, to Casey Allan Norton of Covington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Norton of Conyers.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Angelia Brown Phillips of Washington. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson Brown and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Phillips of Lincolnton.

Miss Phillips is a l998 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School. She is also a graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish in 2002, a M.A.T. in Secondary Education in 2003 and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership in 2009. Miss Phillips is Testing Coordinator for Rockdale County High School in Conyers.

Mr. Norton is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Baxter of Conyers, the late Dude Petit and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hoke Norton.

He is a l994 graduate of Rockdale County High School and attended Gwinnett Technical College. Mr. Norton is employed aa Senior Service Specialist for Ecolab of Chamblee.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Light of Calvary Baptist Church in Conyers.
