Middle school Beta Club inducts new members


Twenty-three students were inducted as new members into the Washington- Wilkes Junior Beta Club last month at W-WMS. The National Junior Beta Club was founded in 1961 for academically outstanding students in grades five through nine. The club is a non-profit leadership-service club whose purpose is to encourage effort and reward merit, and to promote those qualities of character that make for good citizenship.
