Jessie Mae Hall

Funeral services for Jessie Mae Hall, 91, of Washington, were held Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Booker’s Chapel Baptist Church, Washington, with Bishop Dante Smith officiating. Interment was in City West Cemetery. She died Friday, January 8, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Alice Graves and Gabe Derricott, and was the widow of Willie Ed Hall. She was a member of Booker’s Chapel Baptist Church and was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, James and JoAnn Pettus, Willie Robert and Adair Wingfield, Frances and Jake Dorsey, Leroy Graves, Fred Hall, John and Marie Hall, Bobby Hall, and Jessie and Kenneth Johnson, all of Washington, Dennis and Linda Graves of Athens, and Ann Hall Jones of Anniston, Ala.; a sister, Burlina Hall of Greensboro; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
