Log cabin to host kids’ events at library

Frontiers cabin builders Jan Howard, Tracy Holder, and Judy Denard stand proudly with the log cabin that they hewed and built with their bare hands to prepare for the Revolutionary Days celebration in Washington next week. “It took 10 hours of hard work,” Bartram Trail Librarian Lillie Crowe said, “but now we have a stage for our living history presentations which will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 13.” The staff will all be dressed in period attire, she said, and the living history is designed to interact with their history classes in school. Library events for adults that day include the battle video and discussion with Army historians at 8:30 a.m.
