The Friends of the Mary Willis Library will meet Thursday, February 11, at 3 p.m., at the library. The February meeting is the annual membership meeting, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Additionally, the first six new members to sign up will receive a surprise.

The theme of the meeting is Romance. Members will present the program as they discuss their favorite literary heartthrob. The decor will carry out the theme, and there will be favors for everyone, as well as refreshments reflecting hearts and flowers. Some members have donated door prizes.

As part of the business meeting, preliminary plans will be made for the Wilsbary Sale in May.

Nita Latimer, vice-president of the group, predicts that this will be a lively and important gathering. “We believer that the library is a vital part of this community,” she said, “and we hope that everyone will come out and have fun and support our Mary Willis Library.”
