Tignall Homemakers hear sheriff’s program on avoiding ID theft
FAS TEST The Tignall Hom ema kers met January 21 at the North Wilkes Library. President Pat Mack welcomed members and visitors and led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. Billie Carroll gave the devotional.
Members expressed thanks for a job well done and presented a gift of appreciation to outgoing president Joan Baker. A short business meeting followed.
Sheriff Mark Moore presented a program on identity theft, ways to avoid it and procedures for reporting and seeking help to resolve problems.
Hostesses Pat Mack and Edna Rhodes served delicious refreshments.
Members present were Celeste Adams, Joan Baker, Elaine Boiter, Sherrie Bowers, Linda Burns, Billie Carroll, Pat Grimaud, Sara Frances Henderson, Sally Kennedy, Jackie Long, Pat Mack, Ouida Maney, Sarah Pelot, Edna Rhodes, Genevieve Thurmond and Mary Webster. Members welcomed two visitors, Mary Burt and Gail Craddock.
The next meeting will be February 18.
