New Ford Baptist Church in Wilkes County will celebrate black history month with a 3 p.m. worship experience on February 14. Guest speaker will be Rev. Charles E. Goodman Jr., pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta. The Note Singers will sing several "note songs" in the tradition of many of the church elders and foreparents in the black church.
